The Ask

As a powerhouse in the tools industry, Stanley Black & Decker recognized the need for digital innovation to match their cutting-edge products.

They’d recently launched a new line of battery-operated lawn trimmers for their “Outdoor Recharge” campaign, and they envisioned a mobile app that would guide users to the perfect cordless lawn trimmer.

Through a series of targeted questions, the app would assess and analyze consumer needs to recommend the ideal SBD product. This could be used by consumers directly, as well as at retail locations (like Home Depot).

No more guesswork when trying to decide on the right lawn trimmer for you; the app would do the hard work for you!

Aumcore was tasked with crafting this digital solution — an assistant for both the casual gardener and the retail giant, providing clarity in an ever-growing tool universe.

Their objectives:
